Line of Business: Aggregates About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. What You'll Be Doing Operate haul trucks and support equipment to safely transport aggregate materials throughout the quarry. Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly. Support daily production activities by assisting with loading, dumping, stockpiling, and site housekeeping. Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and operational standards. Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient quarry operations and achieve production goals. What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an industrial, mining, construction, or similar environment. Strong commitment to workplace safety and safe operating practices. Ability to perform equipment inspections, identify concerns, and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Dependable work ethic with the flexibility to support changing operational needs and schedules. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
