You'd own the solution end to end: how data is modeled, how identities resolve, how audiences reach their destinations. Not maintenance, not configuration against a design someone handed you. It's also client-facing. You'd be in the room with customer technical teams, leading design conversations and defending recommendations — so the role rewards people who can explain a trade-off as well as implement one. If you like variety over one long-running internal platform, this fits. **What you'd be doing** - Designing XDM schemas, field groups, identity namespaces, and datasets in Adobe Experience Platform - Building ingestion across batch, streaming, and SDK paths — source connectors, HTTP API, Web/Mobile SDK, Data Prep mapping - Configuring identity graphs and merge policies to produce clean, unified Real-Time Customer Profiles - Building audiences (batch, streaming, edge) and activating them to streaming, cloud storage, and custom API destinations - Writing Query Service SQL for profile QA, audience validation, and derived datasets - Integrating RTCDP with the wider Experience Cloud stack (AJO, CJA, Analytics, Target) - Implementing governance: DULE labels, consent policies, Privacy Service, sandbox promotion - Troubleshooting ingestion, identity stitching, and activation failures in production - Advising customer stakeholders on design and best practice, and handing over knowledge so what you build survives you **What you'd need** - **3+ years hands-on AEP / Real-Time CDP** — schemas, profile, identity resolution, segmentation, destinations - **Implementation experience, not configuration-only.** You should be able to walk through at least two RTCDP builds you personally delivered - **Strong SQL.** This is the one the hiring manager cares most about — complex joins, window functions, CTEs, query tuning, and real Query Service work - **3+ years API integration** — REST, auth patterns, Adobe Developer Console / Adobe I/O, OAuth server-to-server - **Client-facing consulting experience** — leading technical workshops, presenting design decisions, handling scope conversations - **Working knowledge of Python.** Scripting and automation level is fine — you don't need to be an engineer
