IT Support Engineer

Your role in the team
In this role, the support Engineer will diagnose Software/Hardware to a technical fix solution result. This could either be over the phone, remote or in person at the deskside.
You'll cover one or more areas of expertise, assist with Upgrades & Fixes when required. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Citrix, Windows OS, Office365, Intune, Fidessa, Bloomberg, Cisco Telephony and some basic network knowledge.
What will you do?
Acting as an internal ‘Technical Support Technician’ for all IT Workplace related support. Working across a broad range of technologies and be able to liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems, and requests. Responsible for answering IT requests via Tickets in Ser-viceNow, phone, email, live chat, or instant message and explaining solutions in technical and nontech-nical terms.
Successfully supporting the business (onsite, phone and remote) with comprehensive issue resolutions.
IT support at offsite conferences.
Perform administrative Tasks in IT Systems
Participate in IT Projects (e.g. Mobile Device Migration Projects)
Who are we looking for?
Committed and client oriented, proactive in providing excellent customer Service.
Proven experience/support with Windows Server, WIN10/7, Group Policy, Active Directory, Citrix Xe-nApp, UMS Admin, Mobile Devices (Apple), MAC support, Intune Admin, Telephony, Azure experience, printers, thin clients (HP & IGEL), desk setup, Bloomberg, Fidessa, Microsoft Office, Uniflow Print Server, IPC & Cisco Telephony.
Knowledge of LAN, WAN and WIFI networks and technologies as well as leased lines
Effective time management including ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize daily business as well as IT Projects.
Flexibility for occasional weekend work and out of hours support, willingness to travel to support for Berenberg Conference(s)
