2027 Winter - CRE, Global Strategy and Transformation Intern (4 Months)

Job Description What is the opportunity? As a member of RBC Corporate Real Estate (Functions) team, you’ll get to work with an energetic global group that represents some of the most talented professionals in the Canadian FI real estate world. This internship presents a unique opportunity to gain experience on a variety of strategic initiatives within CRE working closely with senior leadership, as we strive towards our vision in CRE of being a trusted global partner providing valuable enterprise solutions and exceptional experiences in our workplaces globally. Strong analytical capabilities, frameworks to break down business problems, organizational skills, verbal and written skills and business acumen are key tools to be successful in this role. The RBC Corporate Real Estate team manages approximately 24 million square feet of real estate in 2,300 locations across the globe. RBC’s real estate portfolio includes several different types of properties including office space, retail stores, client-facing office space, data centres, operations centres, and other critical facilities. CRE’s mission is to deliver cost effective real estate solutions that support the strategic goals of RBC’s business units. What will you do? Work closely on a variety of strategic initiatives, providing support in an analyst capacity which could include business case development, opportunity assessment, research of best practices, analytics and more Support with leadership communications and change management initiatives Cross-collaborate with various teams across CRE as required to support new projects, initiatives, and general information gathering to frame up Gain insight and perspective into the financial services industry by sourcing and developing interesting and engaging content for RBC’s internal and external communication channels Build your network by supporting enterprise-wide signature initiatives including executing tactical plans as required What do you need to succeed? Nice-to-have While previous knowledge of retail or office real estate is not a requirement, any background in CRE is an asset.
