We are currently seeking an experienced **2nd Engineer ( watch keeper)** ready to join Orient Express Sailing Yachts Embarkation: *04 Nov ,*joining Orient Express Corinthian *,* Contract Duration: 2months on/off **Department:** | Engine **Job Title:** | Second Engineer **Reporting to:** | Staff Engineer **Qualification:** | As per applicable requirements of: • IMO STCW Convention (as amended) • Company certification and training requirements per form C601d **Experience:** | As per Company Recruitment & Promotion Experience Requirements per form C601d **Description and Main Purpose of Job:** The Second Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation, monitoring, and maintenance of assigned machinery and equipment, under the direction of the Staff Engineer. The position includes engine room watchkeeping duties, planned and corrective maintenance, recording and reporting of technical activities, and contribution to safe vessel operations in compliance with Company procedures, statutory requirements, and the Chief Engineer’s standing orders.
