Data Analysis & Visualization Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define business objectives and KPIs. Proactively analyze data and trends to deliver insights and recommendations that inform strategic decisions. Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker or Tableau to support self-service analytics. Data Governance Own and standardize data definitions across the organization. Establish and maintain data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity. Ensure compliance with relevant data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR). Data Collection & Integration Oversee tools and platforms used to collect and integrate data from multiple sources, including Shopify, third-party applications, and internal systems. Ensure seamless data flows and reliable integrations across the data ecosystem. Data Optimization Continuously improve data quality, accuracy, and efficiency through monitoring, cleaning, transformation, and normalization processes. Optimize ETL pipelines and data models to support scalable reporting and analytics. Data Security Ensure data security and confidentiality through appropriate access controls, encryption, and backup procedures. Partner with IT and security teams to uphold best practices and risk mitigation. Collaboration & Enablement Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, and IT teams to identify data needs and deliver impactful data solutions. Provide training and ongoing support to improve data literacy and promote a data-driven mindset across the organization. Continuous Improvement Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management, analytics, and DTC business strategies. RequirementsQualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in data management or analytics, preferably within an e-commerce or DTC environment. Strong experience with Shopify, including data extraction, reporting, and analytics. Experience with Looker and Daasity is a plus. Solid understanding of data governance, data integration, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools. Strong knowledge of data privacy and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR). Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
