Job description
**You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."** You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built. At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably. You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land. **Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.** Visit us here to learn more about [Accenture Construct](https://www.accenture.com/en/construct) As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details. ### THE WORK: - You'll perform and oversee inspection of structural work including bridges, retaining walls, and related heavy civil components - You'll ensure construction complies with project plans, specifications, and applicable standards. - You'll coordinate closely with contractors, designers, and client representatives on structural issues. - You'll review submittals, RFIs, and field changes related to structural elements. - You'll document inspection activities, maintain daily reports, and support project controls systems. - You'll identify and proactively resolve construction and quality issues in the field. - You'll provide mentorship and guidance to junior inspectors and field staff. ### HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED: - 15+ years of experience in construction inspection, with a strong focus on structural/bridge work - 10+ years of experience on heavy civil transportation projects (rail, roadway, grade separations, or similar) - 10+ years of experience in structural inspection, including reinforced concrete, steel structures, and foundation systems ### BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE: - Strong understanding of Caltrans standards and specifications preferred - Relevant certifications (e.g., Caltrans Structure Representative, ACI, AWS, or equivalent) strongly preferred
