Account Executive - ASEAN (Singapore)

Job description

**The Opportunity** We’re looking for an experienced **Account Executive –** ASEAN to drive new business and help expand Guardsquare’s customer base across the region. This is a true **new business role**. Your focus will be on identifying opportunities, opening doors, building pipeline, and turning prospects into Guardsquare customers. You’ll own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery through technical evaluation, negotiation, and close. You’ll work with companies across ASEAN, engaging both technical and business stakeholders and navigating complex software sales cycles. We’re looking for someone with a genuine **hunter mentality**: commercially sharp, proactive, resilient, and motivated by winning new logos and exceeding targets. **Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Singapore at the time of application. Please note that we are unable to provide visa or work permit sponsorship for this role.** **What you'll do** - Own **new business acquisition across** ASEAN, with a clear focus on winning new logos. - Build and maintain a strong pipeline through **proactive prospecting and outbound activity**, supported by our SDR team. - Own the **full sales cycle**, from initial outreach and discovery through evaluation, negotiation, and closing. - Identify the right stakeholders and build relationships across complex organizations, including security, engineering, technical, procurement, and business teams. - Understand prospects’ challenges and translate them into a compelling business case for Guardsquare. - Work closely with Solutions Engineering and other internal teams throughout technical evaluations and the sales process. - Navigate **complex enterprise sales cycles** involving multiple stakeholders and decision-makers. - Negotiate commercial agreements and confidently drive opportunities towards close. - Maintain accurate pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and forecasting using **Salesforce**. - Consistently deliver against — and aim to exceed — your revenue targets. **Who You Are** - At least **3 to 5 years of experience in a new business / hunting sales role** within B2B software or SaaS. - A proven track record of **prospecting, building pipeline, and winning new logos**. - Experience carrying and delivering against an **annual quota of €1M or more (or equivalent in local currency)**. - A genuine **hunter mentality** — you’re comfortable creating opportunities yourself rather than relying solely on inbound leads or SDR-generated pipeline. - Experience managing **complex software sales cycles** from first contact through close. - **Strong experience selling across ASEAN**, with an understanding of regional markets and business environments. - Strong commercial acumen and confidence engaging both technical and business stakeholders. - Comfortable negotiating and selling into enterprise organizations with multiple decision-makers. - Experience using **CRM and sales tools such as Salesforce**. - Excellent professional English; additionalASEAN **regional languages** are a plus but not mandatory. - Self-motivated, resilient, and energized by ambitious targets and a fast-moving environment. **Nice to Have** - Experience selling **cybersecurity, DevSecOps or application security solutions**. - Experience selling **technical or developer-focused software**. - Familiarity with selling to security, engineering, or software development teams. **What Guardsquare Offers You** - A full-time position with a competitive salary package and great benefits tailored to your experience. - A high-impact commercial role with **direct ownership of new revenue growth across** ASEAN. - The tools and resources you need to successfully develop your career. - A vibrant, international environment where you will collaborate with motivated, open-minded colleagues from diverse backgrounds. - A collaborative workplace culture where your ideas are valued and implemented. At Guardsquare, we take pride in being a diverse and multicultural company with team members representing numerous nationalities. We value different perspectives and opinions throughout the business, which has contributed to our being the market leader in mobile application security. You will be part of a dynamic team that strives for excellence and focuses on continuous education and enhancement in skills.
