**Account Executive, Corporate** 5W Public Relations is seeking an Account Executive to join our Corporate practice. The ideal individual will have worked with Corporate or B2B-focused clients within an agency setting, is an expert at pitching, and possesses superior account and time management skills. *Note: this role be based in one of our FL locations (Miami or Tampa)* **Here’s what you’ll be doing:** - Manage team workflow and take ownership of account work while driving consistent media results. - Create and develop media materials – press kits, press releases, media alerts, fact sheets, bios, case studies, etc. - Develop and maintain relationships with prominent members of the media in order to ensure placements - Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overall PR strategy - Execute and advise on PR strategies and collaboratively develop strategic media plans - Create and develop pro-active pitch ideas for clients based on industry, current trends and various announcements - Monitor media and seek out speaking opportunities for clients as “experts in their field” - Daily client interaction to update, report on and discuss strategy and results - Assist in the research, writing and development of new business proposals and presentations - Provide guidance and leadership to junior-level staff - Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop strategic/creative thinking for clients **Here’s what you have:** - B.S/B.A in Public Relations or related field - 2-3 years of PR agency experience, preferred in the corporate space - Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills - Able to work independently and as part of a team - Strong leadership and motivation skills - Proven client relations and supervisory skills - Creative and energetic personality **Why you’ll love working here:** - Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits & wellness programs including partnership with ClassPass! - Flexible PTO - Summer Fridays and Winter, Spring, and Fall Fridays too! - Hybrid work model offering flexibility and work-life balance - Expanded parental leave and family planning support - Continuous learning through “5W University” and development initiatives - Student Loan Reimbursement - Professional Development Support - Exclusive access to season tickets for pro sports teams along with Broadway shows, and more! - Charitable giving, including matching donations #LI-Hybrid
