PeakMetrics is a narrative intelligence platform that protects enterprises and government agencies from social media manipulation, influence campaigns, and emerging narrative threats. Using advanced machine learning, our platform transforms millions of cross-channel media signals into actionable intelligence — giving customers the context and clarity they need to detect threats early and respond effectively. # **The role** Estimated Base Salary: $137k - 155k OTE: $229k - 259k We are hiring an Account Executive to work on our commercial sales team that will be responsible for bringing exciting new brands and logos on as new customers. You will build your own pipeline, run complex sales cycles with senior leaders in corporate communications, PR, and crisis management. You will carry a defined share of our 2027 revenue goal, and the way you get there will help shape how PeakMetrics sells as we grow. # **What you’ll own** - **Your territory.** Own a dedicated set of new business accounts in your territory, from first conversation through signed contract. - **A defined share of 2027 revenue.** Carry a specific revenue target and be accountable for exceeding it. - **Your own pipeline.** Lead outbound pipeline creation in your territory through email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and your own network. You generate your own opportunities rather than waiting on inbound leads. - **The complex sale.** Run multi-stakeholder sales cycles with senior communications, PR, and crisis leaders. Understand their challenges and position PeakMetrics’ AI-driven narrative intelligence as the answer, using value-based selling. - **Partnership with an SDR.** Work closely with a dedicated SDR, who has a dotted-line relationship to you, to build and qualify pipeline together. Your commit and best-case numbers mean what they say, at-risk deals surface early, and leadership can plan on your number. # **What we’re looking for** You are a proven closer who builds your own pipeline and does not wait for a process to be handed to you. You are energized by complex, high-value deals, and you are comfortable in a company where the sales motion is still taking shape. - **3+ years in a closing role.** You have carried a quota as an Account Executive or similar role, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding your targets. - **Proven ability to create your own pipeline.** You have a track record of sourcing, qualifying, and closing opportunities you generated yourself. - **A self-starter.** You set your own priorities and move deals forward without close direction. - **Adaptability.** You thrive when priorities shift, processes are still being defined, and you are expected to help figure out what works. - **Startup experience.** Strongly preferred. You understand the pace, ambiguity, and ownership that come with selling for an early-stage company. - **Complex B2B sales skill.** You have a strong command of consultative, value-based selling to senior decision-makers, with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles. - **Clear, confident communication.** You can explain a sophisticated AI product concisely, in terms of business outcomes. - **Nice to have:** Enterprise selling experience; experience leading or mentoring other sellers; experience selling to communications, PR, or crisis management leaders; and familiarity with narrative intelligence, threat intelligence, media monitoring, or reputation risk. # **Benefits** - **Remote-first.** Do your best work from wherever you are in the U.S. Remote is how we operate by default, not an exception. - **Health and retirement.** Health insurance, a 401(k), and other benefits that support you beyond the workday. - **Flexible schedule and unlimited time off.** Shape your week around your life, and take the time you need to recharge. - **Room to grow.** Real opportunities for professional growth and development, starting with the chance to build a new function from the ground up. - **A culture worth joining.** A vibrant, inclusive team working on how narratives move across the world’s information. - **Competitive compensation.** Pay that reflects the impact of the role and the value you bring.
