Account Executive LATAM (Portuguese Speaking)

Job description

## **Unleash AI Innovators, Securely** Software is being rewritten in real time. AI agents are starting to write more code than humans do, at a speed no security team has ever had to match, and that single shift is opening up the biggest opportunity our industry has seen in a decade. We're not bracing for it, we're building the company that owns it. Snyk is building the next generation security platform where security isn't a set of tools people operate. It's a team of security agents working alongside your engineers, finding, fixing, and governing risk at the speed software is now built. These agents work alongside both the company build and the agents they adopt. Security stops being a queue of work waiting for people, and becomes a coordinated workforce companies direct and trust. Job Summary Snyk is looking for a Commercial Account Executive to own new business sales across the LATAM region. You'll run the full sales cycle for net-new customers, from sourcing outbound pipeline through close, while also growing and retaining relationships within your existing book. Snyk's developer security platform sits at the center of how AI-assisted development is reshaping software delivery, and this role is your chance to bring that story to a fast-growing set of accounts across Latin America. About the Team You'll join Snyk's global Sales organization as part of a collaborative team of account executives and sales engineers who coach each other, share feedback openly, and work together to maximize performance and earning potential. This role sits within the team focused on the LATAM territory, working alongside colleagues across the US and other regions who bring a range of backgrounds and selling styles to the table. What You’ll Do - Own the end-to-end sales cycle for net-new customers across the LATAM territory, from initial outreach through close. - Source and qualify outbound leads within accounts that match Snyk's ideal customer profile, building your own pipeline. - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across DevSecOps, Development, and Digital Transformation teams. - Lead the post-sales customer journey for your existing book, identifying opportunities to expand and retain accounts over time. - Manage a mix of short and long sales cycles across a customer base ranging from fast-moving mid-market companies to large, slower-moving enterprises. - Partner with sales engineers and cross-functional teams to run technical evaluations that move deals forward. - Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Snyk's sales process, tone, and approach, and help shape the internal tooling the team relies on. - Collaborate with peers across the global sales org, exchanging feedback and best practices to improve outcomes for the whole team. What you’ll bring - Fluency in Portuguese, both spoken and written, to effectively support the LATAM territory. - 2+ years of closing experience selling a technical product, ideally within SaaS or security. - Understanding of the software developer lifecycle and the ability to articulate how a developer security tool fits into it. - Experience identifying target accounts that fit an ideal customer profile and generating pipeline through outbound prospecting. - Experience running both short and long sales cycles. - A self-motivated, quota-driven approach: you aim to exceed your targets and thrive in fast-paced environments. - A collaborative mindset and genuine enjoyment of being part of a high-achieving sales team. - Resilience and coachability: you treat setbacks as learning opportunities and welcome feedback. - An open, honest, and entrepreneurial approach to sales that stays mindful of a customer's risk tolerance. - Comfort working in a fully remote, distributed team environment. ## **About Snyk** Snyk is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging environment where our employees can thrive as we rally behind our common mission to make the digital world a safer place.
