Account Executive - Remote (United States)

Job description

About the role This role is focused on RoofRabbit, our newly launched platform that's revolutionizing the way roofers manage their business. RoofRabbit brings together lead generation, canvassing, quote building, supply ordering, crew management, full CRM capabilities, and integrated payments and financing into one system, consolidating the fragmented tech stack roofing companies piece together today into a single platform that manages their entire workflow. We're looking for an Account Executive (New Business) to help the next wave of roofing companies see what RoofRabbit can do for their business. Who We Are Sales Rabbit is a software company built for roofing and field sales. It builds the tools contractors and reps use at the door, in the office, and on the job: to generate demand, sell, operate, and get paid. Those tools run from the first lead to the final payment, so the job doesn't get lost in between. They're designed to help contractors maximize their efficiency. We build software solutions that propel our customers' businesses forward: Roof Rabbit for roofing and Field Rabbit for everything else sold door-to-door. Everything runs as one unified, AI-native platform, in a single flow from lead to cash. Our solution brings together AI canvassing, online estimates, instant quotes, territory mapping, scheduling, communication, weather data, proposals, financing, measurements, project management, material ordering, inspections, and payments. We believe speed decides who wins in the field, and that belief changes how we build and operate. As a distributed team, we focus on moving faster, operating with greater agility, and using AI and automation as practical force multipliers. Our goal is simple: help contractors grow more efficiently while building a company that can learn, innovate, and deliver value faster. What You'll Do Run in-depth discovery calls that go beyond surface-level needs to uncover the real business pain points a prospect is facing. Map those pain points to concrete outcomes our platform delivers, building a business case the prospect can see themselves in. Deliver value-based product demos tailored to each prospect's specific situation, rather than generic feature walkthroughs. Manage a sales process from qualified lead to closed deal, consistently meeting or exceeding quota. Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through a mix of inbound follow-up and proactive outbound prospecting. Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in our CRM and deliver reliable weekly forecast updates. Partner closely with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success to ensure a smooth handoff and strong onboarding for new accounts. What We Are Looking For Required 3+ years of SaaS sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota. 2+ years in a quota-carrying closing role selling CRM software. Preferred Strong discovery and consultative selling skills, with the ability to translate pain points into value-based outcomes. Comfortable running sophisticated product demos that adapt to a prospect's specific use case rather than a fixed script. Ability to sell to companies ranging from SMB as well as the upper-tiers of Mid-Market. Meticulous pipeline discipline, with a track record of keeping CRM opportunity data accurate and forecasting reliably. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience selling into the trades (roofing, home improvement, solar, pest control, HVAC, security, or similar industries). Who Thrives Here At Sales Rabbit, we hire for operating cadence and mindset. The people who do best here share a few things in common: Active Curiosity - You seek root causes before proposing solutions and stay ahead of industry trends and tools. Grit & Scrappiness - You roll up your sleeves on hard, ambiguous, unglamorous work. You build from scratch and clean up inherited debt. Extreme Ownership - You take accountability for outcomes, proactively communicate blockers, and deliver with minimal oversight. Bias Toward Impact - You measure success by business outcome, not effort. You course-correct fast and without ego. Team-First Collaboration - You listen to understand, give credit generously, and push back when something is wrong - to protect the outcome, not win the argument. The people who do best in this role also bring: Hunter Mentality - You create your own pipeline through outbound and you treat every call as an opportunity to sharpen your understanding of the market and the challenges contractors face. Value Selling Approach - You build every conversation around the customer's goals, showing in real numbers how RoofRabbit helps them win more jobs, save time and grow. Customer Empathy - You take time to understand what a roofing owner is up against before you pitch anything, and prospects trust you because you get their world.
