Account Manager - Dental - International

Job description

# About Clipboard Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S. Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top [Y-Combinator company](https://www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies/) and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities. **About the Role** The Account Manager will be instrumental in helping grow and retain Clipboard's existing markets. Healthcare providers are core to the Clipboard marketplace — the Account Manager is in charge of nurturing and expanding relationships with current users, going deep with those users to understand their needs, and ensuring they're consistently successful on the platform. There's no ceiling to what you can achieve in this role — if you're highly motivated to go above and beyond, a diligent executor, and a strong written/verbal communicator, Clipboard is the place for you to excel. **Responsibilities** - Managing and growing relationships with an existing portfolio of healthcare providers and dental offices - Clearly articulating the value proposition of the app to current users to drive continued engagement and expansion - Going deep with healthcare providers and dental offices to uncover their evolving needs, understand their challenges, and find ways to genuinely help them succeed on the platform - Establishing credibility and rapport with providers, which includes demonstrating a strong understanding of the app - Being the go-to point of contact for users that need help navigating the app, resolving issues, and getting the most out of the platform - Helping fill new and urgent shifts in your assigned markets **Qualifications** - Willingness to hustle / lack of fear - Experience texting, emailing, and talking with English-speaking clients and prospects **Requirements** - Stable high-speed internet connection - A computer workstation (laptop or desktop) - Internationally located (not in US, CA, UK, NZ, or AU) - Availability to work US working hours - Fluency in English speaking and writing **Beyond the Basics — What Will Make You Successful** - **Noticing & Curiosity** — You pick up on things others miss and ask "why" more than once because the first answer is rarely the whole story. You dig to understand the root of a problem or situation rather than accepting things at face value, and you're constantly updating your understanding of the customers you serve. - **Initiative & Persistence** — You have a bias for action. You know that our customers are dealing with real problems today, and you don't wait for perfect information before making a move. You're scrappy and self-reliant, you find ways through obstacles rather than around them, and you bring solutions instead of asking "what should I do?" - **Ownership** — The buck stops with you, no matter what anyone else did or did not do. You take full responsibility for your results, fix problems when you see them — even outside your immediate area — and put processes in place to make sure those problems don't happen again. - **Customer-Centric** — You feel your customers' situations genuinely and care about improving their lives, not just hitting a number. Talking to customers and solving their problems isn't a task on your list — it's the job. - **Humble** — You're low ego and care about getting to the best outcome, not about being right. You readily admit when you don't know something, you actively seek out feedback, and you're always looking to become a better version of yourself. **Benefits** - Do great work that matters for customers who could really use your help - Competitive pay - Unlimited PTO - Fully Remote Estimated annual compensation: $12,000–$15,600 USD. Each candidate's compensation offer within this range will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, and geographic location. **Quick Note on Scammers:** Clipboard would never ask you for money or your bank details to participate in our hiring process.
