Job description
**This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Account Manager (Property) based in Canada.** This is a fully remote account management opportunity focused on growing and retaining revenue across an established portfolio of multi-location property clients. You will own strategic relationships with executive stakeholders while identifying opportunities for renewals, upsells, and cross-sells. The role combines consultative selling, contract negotiation, account planning, and long-term partnership development. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Legal, and other internal teams to deliver strong client outcomes. A key focus will be helping property organizations address localized marketing, visibility, reputation, and customer experience challenges at scale. You’ll operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where initiative, creativity, and commercial discipline are highly valued. This is an opportunity to directly influence customer retention, account expansion, and revenue growth within a growing B2B technology business. ### Accountabilities - Build and execute strategic account plans designed to strengthen retention, increase customer value, and expand revenue across an assigned portfolio of commercial multi-location clients. - Develop trusted, long-term relationships with executive stakeholders and key decision-makers, acting as a strategic advisor on their marketing and business challenges. - Lead renewal, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities, managing negotiations, proposals, contracts, and the process from initial opportunity through signature. - Identify opportunities to expand the solution footprint within existing accounts and develop compelling business cases that clearly demonstrate business value and return on investment. - Partner with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, Legal, and other internal teams to coordinate account strategies and deliver a seamless client experience. - Represent the organization at customer events, industry conferences, strategic account reviews, and other executive-facing engagements. - Serve as a subject matter expert on localized marketing at scale, helping clients address visibility, reputation, and multi-location marketing challenges. - Maintain disciplined pipeline management, accurate forecasting, CRM records, account documentation, and accountability against revenue and growth targets. - Monitor account health, market trends, competitive developments, and evolving client needs to identify risks and uncover new commercial opportunities. - Resolve customer challenges and objections creatively while maintaining a customer-first approach and adapting strategies as business needs evolve. ## Requirements - 3–5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying Account Management or Sales position, preferably within a B2B or SaaS environment. - Demonstrated history of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue and sales quotas. - Proven experience managing contract renewals, negotiations, upselling, and cross-selling within existing customer accounts. - Property management industry experience is strongly preferred, including an understanding of multi-site portfolios, resident or tenant experience, and the marketing and reputation challenges facing property brands. - Experience managing relationships with multi-location organizations, with established industry contacts or relationships considered an advantage. - Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills. - A refined and demonstrable sales methodology combined with a consultative, customer-focused approach. - Strong strategic and creative problem-solving abilities, with the ability to uncover customer needs, overcome objections, and develop new approaches to generating value. - Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and negotiations simultaneously. - Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. - Ability to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and tools, with experience using Salesforce or an equivalent CRM platform. ## Benefits - Fully remote work environment. - Base salary range of **$70,000–$90,000 USD**, plus commission. - Individual compensation determined based on relevant skills, experience, education, and training. - Comprehensive health insurance, dental, and vision coverage. - Wellness incentives and quarterly wellness days. - 401(k) plan with employer matching. - Flexible paid time off and paid holidays. - Unique employee engagement programs. - Opportunities for career development, skill building, leadership growth, and professional advancement. - Collaborative and flexible work culture with colleagues working remotely across the globe.
