Job description
The Accounts Officer will provide accounting services for the MC Country office and maintain proper records of all transaction in accordance with MC financial procedures, Additional responsibilities include; maintaining the petty cash using impress records, preparing cash payments and obtain approval from authorised personnel; archiving all finance documents and ensuring they are in safe custody and easily accessible by finance team.
A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting with a minimum of three years’ experience in a finance team. Previous knowledge of NGO donors financial reporting requirements is essential for this position; Excellent knowledge of computers as well as accounting soft wares is required.
