Job description

Support Services Group is looking for a high-energy, self-motivated, results-driven Accountant . Education Bachelor’s degree or Technical Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional Experience 2–4 years of accounting experience in Mexico , preferably in a corporate or business environment. Hands-on experience with accounts payable, vendor invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations . Experience reviewing and processing invoices and ensuring proper documentation and payment follow-up. Technical Skills Proficiency in CONTPAQi / CompaQ accounting software. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel , including the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial data. Working knowledge of Mexican tax regulations , particularly: VAT (IVA) Income Tax (ISR) General Mexican tax compliance and reporting obligations. Basic knowledge of payroll processes and IMSS requirements . Language Fluent or advanced English , both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment. Soft Skills Strong organizational and time-management skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proactive follow-up skills and the ability to keep track of pending tasks and payments. Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with internal teams.
