ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Position at JBS USA RESPONSIBILITIES Assist in various ways during month-end close Provide cross check on cattle costs & wires Review and verify invoices and check requests Sort, code and match invoices Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Maintain vendor files Produce monthly reports and assist in month end closing Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records Employee meat orders and charges Create purchase requisitions Weekly bank deposit reconciliation Minimum Requirements (State educational and job experience requirements): High School degree required Accounting experience preferred Abilities Required (List any specific physical requirements): Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word) Ability to multi-task Must be willing to work well with others and cross-train on multiple jobs Good Attendance is very crucial - Internal candidates must have 2 or fewer points EOE/VET/DISABLED
