Job Title: Accounts Clerk Department: Accounts Reports To: Financial Controller Job Summary: In summary, the Accounts Clerk is responsible for supporting day to say financial operations of the company by assisting with accounts payable and receivables functions invoice processing, reconciliations and record maintenance. This role ensures accuracy, timeliness and compliance with established accounting procedures while maintaining organized financial documentation. The Accounts Clerk works closely with the accounting team to support financial reporting, vendor management and internal controls. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the team with Accounts Payable & Receivable Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Monitor and manage accounts receivable, including issuing invoices and following up on outstanding payments Maintain and update financial records in the accounting system Support the preparation of financial statements and audits as needed Maintain historical records of all invoices, reports, receipts, and cheques by saving documents properly on the network Audit daily cashier’s work and credit card transactions Provide general administrative support to the department Perform any other work-related tasks, as requested Skills and Qualifications Certification/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline Experience in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline a plus Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel etc.) Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment About the Company The vision of Oaktree Medical Center is to become a world-renowned medical facility known for high quality, holistic care, focused on family values in a safe, caring, customer service driven environment.
