If you need assistance, please contact us at SUMMARY: Adjunct Faculty refers to an educator hired to teach on a course by course basis throughout an academic year. *Face-to-Face ETAMU Dallas Campus ONLY * DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Teach up to seven semester credit hours (up to two (2) courses) within the required discipline. Instruction may be delivered on-campus, off-campus, or online and may be during the day and/or evening as dictated by student demand and departmental needs. * This position is Face-to-Face ONLY at the Dallas Campus.* Subject Areas: Biology English Math Economics History Political Science/Government Sociology Psychology Physics Chemistry Art Theatre Speech/Communication Business, Accounting Criminal Justice Agriculture Elementary Education Develop and manage the class syllabus and ensure that the syllabus meets department and college standards. Plan and create lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments. Assess grades for students based on participation, performance in class, assignments, and examinations. Assist/mentor students as needed. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: *Must be able to teach Face-to-Face at Dallas Campus* Education: Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field is required to teach undergraduate courses OR a terminal degree in the field of study or closely related is required to teach graduate courses. Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience. Knowledge / Skills: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to: Multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Licensing/Professional Certifications: Recommended TEA teacher’s certification. Physical Requirements: Ability to travel. Other Requirements: Flexible schedule. PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE: Candidates who hold current relevant professional credentials. College or University teaching experience. Evidence of teaching excellence.
