Please Note: The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position. Responsibilities: Administrative Support: Performs word processing, desktop publishing, presentation, data management activities, and assists staff with the use of these applications Composes correspondence, reports, publications, and presentations, including editing and proofreading as well as maintaining a professionally welcoming environment in the Office of the Dean Greets visitors, answers and screens calls, provides information and referrals, and schedules appointments for the Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs Schedule meetings, appointments, conferences, and travel for the Associate Dean of Academic and Student Affairs Office Support: Maintains office supplies, equipment, and reference materials as well as the organization of the workroom in the Office of Dean in consultation with other administrative staff Deliver, pick up, and/or receive cash payments, documents, supplies, equipment, or materials as well as serve as a liaison for departmental equipment and service contracts and participate in the hiring training and supervision of student workers Receives, sorts, and routes mail and performs other mail services as well as develop and maintain a master calendar of faculty office hours, remote hours, travel, and related areas Information Support: Applies, interprets, and communicates policies and procedures and serves as a resource for answering questions regarding policies Posts information to agency records and modifies forms or records Verifies, processes, and reviews forms, reports, and other documents Performs other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of related experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Preferred Qualifications: Three years administrative assistants experiences in an academic environment Good interpersonal skills, ethical conduct, and be able to maintain confidentiality and work wells with others Skills in typing on computer keyboard Ability to use of office machines; software systems, faxing, copying of materials Coordinating office communications: written, verbal, and electronic Knowledge of scheduling appointments Good interpersonal skills, ethical conduct, and be able to maintain confidentiality and work well with others Job Posting Close Date: 09/02/2026 Required Attachments: Please attach all required documents listed below in the attachment box labeled as either “Resume/CV or Resume/Cover Letter” on the application.
