Job description

**About the company** Steadfast Health was founded to establish a new standard of substance use disorder (SUD) care. Recognizing that traditional treatment methods often fall short of reaching patients when they’re most in need, Steadfast is relentlessly focused on making low-barrier, high quality care accessible to all. At our clinic we provide Office-Based Addiction Treatment (OBAT), MAT/MOUD and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) level services, so patients can receive medical care and structured therapeutic support in one coordinated setting. **About the role** We're looking for an experienced APP to practice at the top of their license in a supportive, evidence-based addiction medicine model. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and peers to deliver coordinated, compassionate care. With streamlined workflows and dedicated MA support, you can spend more of your day doing what matters most: caring for your patients without distraction. We offer CME funding, mentorship, and leadership pathways, in a sustainable work environment that truly supports work-life balance. Here, you’re not just part of a care team — you’re helping shape the future of addiction treatment. **A day in the life** - **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:30a–5:00p, with a daily morning team huddle 8:30a-9a. No nights, no weekends. - **Protected midday break:** A one-hour block in the middle of the day. - **Patient visits:** Initial visits are 60 minutes; follow-up visits are 20 minutes. - **Panel size:** Maximum caseload of approximately 80–100 patients, so you have time to build real relationships and deliver thoughtful care. **Responsibilities** - Diagnose and manage SUDs and associated comorbidities, embodying the Steadfast patient-first ethos. - Collaborate with all clinic-level team members to formulate and execute patient care plans, including Medical Assistants, Peer Recovery Specialists, and Therapists. - Provide expert compassion and patient-centered advocacy through the application of Motivational Interviewing principles. - Practice up-to-date, life-saving, cutting-edge SUD therapies with close guidance, oversight and mentorship from specialty-trained addiction experts. - Pioneer novel ways of improving access and overall care for disadvantaged, marginalized populations. - Provide compassionate, patient-centered care by creating a warm and welcoming environment, fostering trust and strong relationships with patients and communities. - Demonstrate flexibility and a proactive attitude in adapting to diverse patient needs and situations. - Continuously seek out new knowledge and stay informed on new medical advancements, maintaining a lifelong learning mindset to deliver the best care possible. - Provide occasional cross-coverage for inpatient consult APPs as needed, ensuring seamless patient care and team support. ### **Why Steadfast?** - Medical, dental & vision insurance, plus 100% employer-paid short- and long-term disability and life insurance - 401(k) with up to 5% company match - 29 days off a year to start (PTO, floating holidays, paid volunteer days), increasing on your anniversary — plus 4 Re-Fuel Days annually for mental health, rest, or CEU activities - $2,000 annual CEU stipend and ongoing paid training - Free, confidential EAP access to therapy, legal, financial, and wellness resources - Protected time built into your day for recharging, huddles, care planning, and admin work - MA/LPN and Peer Recovery Specialist support, collaborative care model with physician backup, and manageable panel sizes so you can practice at the top of your license - Extra perks: SoFi student loan interest rate discount, Rightway Health Concierge, a year of free pet telehealth through Pawp, and Perkspot discount marketplace - [Soulside AI](https://www.soulside.ai/) documentation support — because your energy belongs with patients, not paperwork - We believe lived experience with recovery is a strength, not a barrier — many of our team bring personal or family experience with addiction and recovery, and we welcome candidates in recovery to apply - Ground-floor opportunity to help shape how we grow **Background** - NP (FNP, AGNP, PMHNP preferred) or PA-C (Internal, Family, Emergency Medicine experience preferred), with **a minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience as a provider** — ideally in an outpatient setting. -
