This partnership empowers **Austin Gastro** to deliver superior, individualized patient care by leveraging GI Alliance’s robust, world-class business and organizational support, ensuring our clinicians can focus on what they do best – providing top-notch care in a successful and dynamic private practice setting. **Job Description**: - Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician - Dedicated to one physician - Part Time schedule - Typically 8am-5pm - The specific days and number of days per week will be mutually agreed upon, based on the candidate’s availability and the final number of part-time hours. - Austin Gastro practice locations on Hero Way and Wyoming Springs - No other satellite locations - No call responsibilities - No inpatient responsibilities - Dedicated to one physician - Seeing both new patients and follow-up patients, approximately 12 patients per full clinic day - Complete patient histories and physicals - Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests - Counsel patient and family on health and disease - Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities - Perform other duties as assigned **Required and Preferred Qualifications:** - TX State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant **required** - Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant **required** - Comfortable working in a busy and thriving practice **required** - Gastrointestinal experience **preferred** GI Alliance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
