AI Product Engineer (Demo)

Job description

Celonis is the trusted platform to industrialize Enterprise AI. At our core is the Celonis Context Model — which combines process data, business knowledge, and intelligence into a living digital twin of the enterprise that AI can actually understand, turning AI's operational blind spots into operational clarity. World's leading companies trust Celonis and its global ecosystem of partners to make their AI agents, people, systems, and processes work together, achieving transformational outcomes. We believe there's a massive opportunity to unlock global productivity and sustainability by giving AI the context to understand how every business process really works. Join our mission to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet. **The Team:** Celonis Demo Engineering is the creative and technical engine of our Go-To-Market strategy. We are embarking on a high-stakes mission to build the Next-Gen Demo Factory - a world where AI agents and LLMs handle the heavy lifting of demo creation. This transformation is critical not only to maintain our lead in Process Intelligence but to ensure Celonis wins the Enterprise AI market. By feeding operational business context to AI, we enable the world’s largest companies to industrialize AI and unlock real ROI. **You will** **co-lead this transformation within the team, architecting agentic systems and building tools that turn customer business problems into compelling demos for 1,000+ GTM colleagues inside and outside Celonis.** **The work you’ll do:** - **Architect Agentic Demo Builds:** Lead the shift toward "Prompt-to-Demo" workflows, from Atlas mockups to in-product demos with Apollo. You will build and continuously improve AI agents to automate the generation of data stories, UI screens, and configurations from simple business requirements. - **Elevate Field Delivery & Enablement:** Create "Self-Service" agentic tools that allow Sales Reps and Solution Engineers to "chat" with a demo environment. These agents will generate custom talk-tracks, executive summaries, and personalized pitch decks on demand, ensuring every pitch is "Gold Standard."**. Drive adoption through enablement and iterate based on user feedback.** - **Master the AI Demo Lifecycle:** Own the end-to-end development\*\*, release, and ongoing improvement\*\* of our most strategic AI demo tools and assets. This includes identifying **the highest-impact demo opportunities across pre-sales**, prioritizing features, **building solutions, and leading technical configuration and QA**. **Work with Product and engineering partners to evolve these tools alongside the Celonis platform.** - **Scale Through Automation:** Identify repetitive manual tasks in the demo lifecycle—from data cleaning to screen setup—and build AI-driven tools/orchestrations **to reduce manual effort and demo creation time**. - **Creative AI Storytelling:** Use generative tools to translate complex data into visionary C-level narratives, ensuring our automated assets maintain a human-centric, high-impact quality. **The qualifications you need:** - **The Builder DNA:** You are a natural "problem solver through automation." You **have hands-on experience building** tools that help *others* succeed and a preference for building a scalable "generator" over manually fixing a single screen. - **1.5+ Years of Experience:** Professional experience in Value Engineering, Applied AI, Solution Engineering, Demo Engineering, Technical Consulting, or a similar "Product-adjacent" role. - **Technical Baseline:** A hunger to learn new technologies and **hands-on proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a comparable programming language**. You should be comfortable **working with data, integrating AI models and APIs, and debugging the tools you build**. - **Strategic Storyteller:** The ability to **identify high-impact use cases and** take complex technical capabilities and turn them into a simple, value-driven business story for an executive audience. - **High Learning Velocity:** The AI landscape moves fast; you must be excited to constantly experiment with new models, frameworks, and prompting techniques. Nice to Have (Big Plus): - **Cloud Platforms & Workflows:** Experience building cloud-based workflows or applications using services such as Microsoft Azure and Azure Blob Storage. - **Software Development & Delivery:** Experience with GitHub, version control, deployment workflows, and maintaining web applications used by others. - **Web Applications & UI/UX:** Experience with frontend development and UI/UX design, turning complex AI capabilities into intuitive web applications. - **Celonis & Process Expertise:** Experience with the Celonis platform, in-product applications **What Celonis can offer you:** - Pioneer Innovation: Work with the global leader in Process Mining and the Process Intelligence Graph to shape the future of AI-driven business operations. - Ownership from Day 1: Every full-time "Celonaut" is an owner, receiving Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and merit-based refresh grants. - Unrivaled Family Support: Benefit from our inclusive parental leave policy—24 weeks of fully paid leave for primary carers and 12 weeks for supporting carers, available from your first day of employment. - Work-Life Integration: Enjoy Unlimited PTO (in applicable regions) and generous PTO globally, as well as a flexible hybrid work model that balances remote focus with vibrant office collaboration. - Continuous Growth: Elevate your skills through our 70-20-10 learning framework, mentorship programs, and access to a dedicated learning platform. - Holistic Well-being: Prioritize your health with subsidized Wellhub memberships, mental health counseling, and dedicated "Wellness Weeks" that prioritize work/life balance. - Drive Sustainability: Participate in annual Impact Days, where you receive paid time off to volunteer for community and environmental causes with your local office, or virtually. - Global Inclusion & Belonging: Find community through our Inclusion Think Tank and participate in our annual Inclusion Days, ensuring every voice is heard and valued. - Value-Driven Impact: Join a mission-led organization where our core values—Live for Customer Value, The Best Team Wins, We Own It, and Earth Is Our Future—drive every decision. **About Us:** Celonis is the trusted platform to industrialize Enterprise AI, empowering organizations to analyze, design, and operate AI-driven processes.
