Job Summary Pay: $19.00/hour The Air Logistics Warehouse Agent is responsible for moving and sorting small packages by hand and pushcart from containers inside the warehouse to semi-trucks, in an open air, uncontrolled temperature environment. Click on the link below. amazon warehouse Responsibilities Load and unload package containers, moving packages by hand and pushcart, to warehouse to truck Build up package containers ready for outbound flights Break down package containers from arriving flights Remove tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading Sort, scan and move small packages within the warehouse Operate package handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts) Check air express containers for proper piece count Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required Minimum of one (1) year experience in similar role required Valid Driver’s license required Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays. Peak Season (November-December) may require longer hours Ability to read, write and understand the English language Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids Preferred Skills Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays, and days off. Ability to judge distances. Ability to successfully communicate with others. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, multiple times a day Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, rain, wind and snow Ability to stand for an entire shift and travel long distances across our facilities by foot Perks & Benefits Want your pay in advance?
