Functionally, we are the backbone and nerve center supporting the entire investment servicing lifecycle across our key asset classes - Asset Management, Asset Owners, Insurance, Alternatives and Official Institutions and a wide spectrum of investment servicing products. We are looking to hire for Global Delivery Alternative Investment Services Financial Reporting – Managing Director , a part of the Global Delivery management team and the Global Alternative Investment Services leadership team. What you will be responsible for Critical business priorities: Providing leadership expertise and oversight of the operations of Financial Reporting in India Proven track record in leading a diverse group of resources and driving operational excellence Ensure consistency across policy, standards, process and procedure​​​​​​​ Provide partnership with our stakeholders, support and assurance to enable effective delivery Improve quality of service delivery within the business, control environment and productivity ​​​​​​​ Drive continuous improvement through innovation / best practices and ensure compliance Evolve the operating model to drive scalability & client centricity, best in class operations with leading industry standards Effectively partner with IT and Client side of the organization Change agent mentality with the business acumen to interact with senior business stakeholders across the global organization possessing the ability to offer creative solutions to meet all party requirements Role Definition: Good understanding of Financial & Reg reporting requirements and the multiple internal and external dependencies required to successfully manage the client delivery Exposure to end-to-end Fund Accounting & Admin, Custody and Middle Office Operations, Risk Oversight and acumen to transform Responsible for oversight of complex client requirements around financials, peak cycles Drive continuous improvement: productivity, quality, and Risk Excellence Act as leadership level escalation point for operational issues Identify and develop opportunities for transformation and capacity creation. Drive productivity and operational effectiveness Manage the senior leadership team and oversee all operational resolutions Strive for cutting-edge solutions, that are resilient and scalable Address custom client requests, manage production activities - VPs, AVPs and officer teams What we value At Managing Director (MD) level we require senior leadership and advanced skills in areas such as: Navigate a large, global organization. Proven leadership skills as well as managing and developing a high performing operations team. Excellent time management, presentation skills and communication to multiple levels (clients, other 3rd parties, executives, peers, subordinates). Flexibility across multiple communication formats Proven track record of achieving/exceeding financial goals through expense discipline and headcount management Demonstrated ability to execute under challenging circumstances and deliver targeted outcomes. Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and influence colleagues and virtual team members. Cross-cultural awareness and the ability to connect with colleagues globally in a collaborative, open work environment. To serve as a role model of acceptance and flexibility in dealing with colleagues with varying backgrounds. The candidate for the role will possess and/or be able to demonstrate: Over 15 years' of experience running operations within financial services and deeper expertise on Financial Reporting. Enterprise leadership skills managing client service delivery and business growth. Experience interfacing at a senior level with clients, service providers and regulators.
