VACANCIES: AM Security – Tactical Officer – SBC-JHB (5 posts) Reference Number: SBC-JHB-TACT24 Date: 7 November 2024 ongoing Please take note of the above-mentioned vacancies. Suitably qualified Tactical candidates are encouraged to apply for the above position around Gauteng. Minimum requirements: 1. Minimum Grade B, PSIRA registered and current. 2. South African Citizen. 3. Minimum Grade 12. 4. SAPS Competencies for Handgun (HG) and Self-Loading Rifle/Carbine (SLR) with Business Purposes (BP). 5. Statement of results for Firearms training received (SASSETA/PFTC). 6. Driver’s License – current (Code 8/10). 7. Minimum 6 months’ employment within the company. 8. Clean Disciplinary Record for the past 6 months. Special Conditions: Candidates must reside close to SBC-JHB or Sandton (Tembisa). Candidates must have effective communication skills both verbally and written in English. Candidates must have vehicle driving skills. Candidates must be able to shoot accurately with both HG and SLR. Firearm safety and handling skills is a requirement. Candidates must understand that discipline is essential at the Tactical Division Previous Tactical or Armed Response experience will be an added advantage. Candidates must be prepared to undergo Fitness, Driving and Firearm proficiency tests.
