Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality clinical anaesthesia services across a wide range of specialties
- Provide administrative leadership within the department
- Supervise and mentor:
- Anaesthetic trainees
- Junior medical staff
- Medical students
- Participate in:
- Acute pain service rounds
- Pre-anaesthetic clinics
- Contribute to:
- Clinical governance
- Risk management
- Quality improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively across the full patient care continuum
- Participate in an after-hours and weekend on-call roster
About You
- MBBS (or equivalent)
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- FANZCA (or equivalent specialist recognition)
- Demonstrated experience delivering specialist anaesthesia services
- Strong interest in teaching and supervision
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative approach
