**Job Title:** Android Developer **Key Skills:** Kotlin, Android Studio, Espresso, XCUITest, Python, Buildkite, GitHub Actions, JIRA, XRay, AWS, Azure, Agile Methodologies **Experience:** 3-5 years of experience as Android Developer. **Location:** Latin America (LATAM). **Work Modality:** Remote. **At Coforge, we are looking for an Android Developer (22795) with the following profile.** ### Main Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android mobile applications using Kotlin. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and deliver new features and enhancements. - Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performing mobile solutions following industry best practices. - Develop and execute automated tests using Espresso and support quality assurance initiatives. - Contribute to CI/CD processes using Buildkite and GitHub Actions. - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance and user experience. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards. - Work closely with product owners, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders in Agile environments. - Manage tasks, defects, and project deliverables through JIRA and XRay. - Collaborate within Scrum and Kanban frameworks to deliver projects on schedule. - Support integrations with cloud platforms, data-driven solutions, and emerging AI technologies. - Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives across the team. ### Required Qualifications - 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Android application development. - Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Android Studio. - Experience developing and maintaining native Android applications. - Experience with automated testing frameworks, particularly Espresso. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Buildkite and GitHub Actions. - Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows. - Experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. - Knowledge of JIRA and XRay for project and test management. - Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. - Intermediate to advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed teams. ### Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Python scripting or development. - Knowledge of mobile testing and quality assurance best practices. - Exposure to iOS development environments, including Swift, Xcode, TestFlight, and XCUITest. - Experience supporting cloud-based, data, or AI-related initiatives. - Previous experience working with international teams and clients. - Experience in fast-paced consulting or enterprise software development environments. **Published on:** 14-08-2026 **At Coforge, we hire professionals solely based on their skills and qualifications and do not discriminate based on age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.**
