Job description
The United States Army is seeking motivated individuals to serve as Soldiers in a wide variety of career fields. Soldiers play a critical role in defending the nation, supporting peacekeeping missions, providing humanitarian aid, and operating in diverse environments around the world. This is more than a job—it is a commitment to service, teamwork, and leadership. ### Key Responsibilities - Complete initial training and maintain readiness to support Army missions. - Operate, maintain, and repair Army equipment, technology, and vehicles. - Work as part of a disciplined team to accomplish tactical, operational, and humanitarian objectives. - Uphold Army values and represent the U.S. military with integrity and professionalism. - Participate in domestic and international missions, ranging from combat operations to disaster relief. - Continuously develop skills through ongoing training and career development programs. ### Qualifications - Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. - Age: 17–34 (with parental consent if under 18). - High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted). - Meet physical, medical, and moral requirements as determined by Army standards. - Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
