At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. X The Assembler position consists of documentation, assembly, electrical test, machine test and inspection. Each assembler may be required to work on any single phase of operations at a given time. Your responsibilities: Cleaning and preparation of parts by simple chemical cleaning procedures; Mounting of product with epoxy and solder; Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder; Hand marking of devices; Test components and assemblies once finished; Sub-assembly fabrication to be used on final product; Fibre optic attachment; The assembler may need to use the SAP system to make certain transactions; The assembler may assist the Team Leader in the training of new employees; Performing other related duties as required. Your qualifications: Possess a High School Diploma; Have experience in a manufacturing environment; The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; Have good organizational skills; Experience with computer data entry (an asset); Good manual dexterity and visual acuity; Bilingualism (French and English) an asset; Our hiring practices comply with the OLF requirements.
