Assistant Director of Finance

Job description

The Assistant Director of Finance is a senior middle-management leadership role responsible for directing the daily operations of the hotel finance department. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this position acts as the second-in-command, overseeing all core accounting functions—including general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, cost control, purchasing, and cash management. The primary objective is to maintain strict internal financial controls, ensure regional and international regulatory compliance, optimize working capital, and provide actionable financial analysis to maximize hotel gross operating profit (GOP). In the absence of the Director of Finance, this role assumes full operational responsibility for the department.
