Your work will directly influence patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and the overall quality of our healthcare services.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Partner with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards.Mentor and coach nursing supervisors and staff, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care plans and outcomes.Monitor staffing levels, manage scheduling, and support recruitment and retention efforts.Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction scores and clinical performance metrics.Participate in budget planning and resource allocation to optimize care delivery.RequirementsCurrent RN license in Nevada requiredBachelor’s degree in nursing BSN strongly preferredMinimum one (1) year of direct psychiatric nursing experience requiredMinimum three (3) years of progressive nursing leadership experience, ideally in behavioral healthcare settingsStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing careExceptional communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skillsA passion for mentoring and developing nursing talentAbility to stabilize acute psychotic and non-violent crisis' by using accepted intervention techniquesBenefitsA full benefits package is available the first of the month following 30 days of employment! Requirements

• Current RN license in Nevada required
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing BSN strongly preferred
• Minimum one (1) year of direct psychiatric nursing experience required
• Minimum three (3) years of progressive nursing leadership experience, ideally in behavioral healthcare settings
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
• A passion for mentoring and developing nursing talent
• Ability to stabilize acute psychotic and non-violent crisis' by using accepted intervention techniques

Desert Parkway’s comprehensive mental health programs are designed to treat adolescent and adult patients with both dignity and respect while providing the very best in care.We are dedicated to helping patients in the Las Vegas area with behavioral illness and/or chemical dependency with compassion and kindness. Our mental health facilities offer a variety of psychiatric healthcare programs which include mental health services such as: Assessments Referrals Inpatient psychiatric crisis stabilization Las Vegas psychiatry and chemical dependency detox/rehab Outpatient programs We also offer our Hope for Heroes program which is geared towards helping veterans overcome service-related obstacles to their emotional and mental well-being.
