Working in the HKEX Secretarial Services Department, the role will play a critical part in providing company secretarial services for HKEX Group of companies, ensuring HKEX is operating at the highest level of corporate governance and in compliance with the relevant statutory and regulatory requirements. Our ideal team member will be a proactive individual with the knowledge and confidence to handle and drive operational tasks as below. Job Duties: Driving the strategic planning and implementation of board (including subsidiaries) meeting and all initiatives / events, ranging from meeting / events preparation, logistics to senior stakeholder coordination. Leading and driving consistent practices and experiences for senior stakeholders whilst ensuring that all aspects of corporate governance are compliant, accurate, and timely. Maintenance of professional relationships ranging from specific focus on senior stakeholders (i.e. board of directors and advisors) to regulatory bodies / professional intermediaries (i.e. Securities and Futures Commission, Companies Registry) and service providers (i.e. law and professional firms, auditors, and share registrars) Facilitation (and providence of administrative support) on the departmental management of the comprehensive company secretarial matters for the Listed company and its subsidiaries including the coordination and issuance of periodic (i.e. interim and annual) announcements and relevant regulatory-related announcements. Facilitation (and providence of administrative support) on the departmental management of the statutory records and governance-related registers to support the Secretarial Services’ operational functions. Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following attributes: Bachelor's degree or above, preferably majoring in Corporate Governance, Laws, Business Administration, Finance, or related fields. 8 years or more of experience in a corporate governance or business management or related role in a sizable, listed company. Ability to provide strategic advice on events and meeting coordination and with end-to-end implementation capabilities. High level of professional integrity, good judgment, attention to detail, and ability to independently handle complex documents and matters. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to cooperate effectively with senior stakeholders, regulatory bodies, intermediaries, and internal departments.
