## **Salary: up to $23** ## ## **Shift:** 2nd shift- 3pm-11pm, 3rd shift- 11pm-7am ## ## **Equipment:** ### Harris M-1000 BE ### Harris M-600 ### Job Description # Assistant Web Press Operator We are seeking an **Assistant Web Press Operator** to join their production team in **Missouri**. This position is a strong opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career in **web offset printing**. ## Pay - Starting pay: **$23/hour** - Open to candidates with **0–1 years of experience** ## Shift Options - **2nd Shift:** 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM - **3rd Shift:** 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM ## Press Equipment - Harris M-1000 BE - Harris M-600 - Multiple roll stand configurations - Double-former delivery systems - Rotary cutter delivery systems - Combo folder delivery systems - Sheeter delivery systems - Closed-loop color systems ## Key Responsibilities - Assist press operators with setup, operation, and shutdown of web offset press equipment - Help prepare and monitor paper rolls, roll stands, web feeding, and delivery systems - Support press crews during production runs to maintain quality and efficiency - Monitor print quality, color, registration, and overall production flow - Assist with folding, cutting, sheeting, and delivery operations - Make basic adjustments under the direction of press operators or leads - Help troubleshoot production issues and communicate concerns to the team - Perform routine cleaning, maintenance support, and housekeeping around the press - Follow job tickets, production schedules, safety procedures, and quality standards - Work closely with press operators, leads, and supervisors to meet production goals ## Qualifications - Web offset printing experience preferred, but not required - Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required - Prior experience in print manufacturing, production equipment, bindery, or manufacturing is a plus - Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment - Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow instructions - Comfortable working around large production equipment - Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented - Must be open to working 2nd or 3rd shift ## Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn the web offset printing trade.
