What's in it for you: As a Mechanical Engineer, you have the responsibility for designing and managing complex engineering systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams over multiple disciplines with an objective to discover problems that need to be resolved and then find innovative solutions to those problems. What you will do: Use and apply engineering knowledge in thermodynamics, statics, aerodynamics and materials in analysis and design of products and systems. Use material, component, or design specifications and datasheets to create designs that meet requirements. Use engineering judgement, analysis, and innovation to identify and solve problems. Manages multiple project assignments and tasks and aligns priorities to business and leadership requests. Apply engineering tools and processes to design, develop, test, and approve products and changes. Evaluate and find solutions to operational and prototype issues in lab and field environments. Use Lean thinking and fundamentals to drive systems and behaviors for continuous improvement. Use feedback and guidance from subject matter experts, suppliers, and educational sources to enhance design and requirements. What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering 8+ years contributing to technical aspects of product design projects, validation testing, and root cause analysis.
