We’re open to candidates who are new to the automotive industry, with **6 months of Express/Lube Technician experience preferred**. Experience with dealerships, AutoZone, Jiffy Lube, Pep Boys, or independent automotive shops is a plus. **Responsibilities** The Express Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of our service department. - Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements. - Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs. - Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. - Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs. - Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards. **Qualifications** - **Preferred:** Ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of prior experience as an Automotive Express/Lube Technician. - Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. - Manufacturer certification is desired, and a degree or certificate from a trade school is preferred. **Compensation:** - The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $18.47 - $20.00. *Please keep in mind that this range may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.* **Benefits** - Medical, Dental and Vision Plans - Short and Long-Term Disability - Paid Holidays & Paid Time Off - Paid Life Insurance - 401(k) Retirement Plan - Employee Assistance Plan - Paid Training **Hiring Requirements** - 18 years or older required - All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen [Privacy Policy](https://www.lacarguy.com/privacy.htm)
