AVP, Finance Manager (Payment and Financial Control)

Job description

Business Function Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services. Responsibilities Responsible for various financial control functions under DBS HK entities, including payment processing, intra-group billing, ledger monitoring, intercompany reconciliation, balance sheet substantiation Proactively liaise with key stakeholders on payment processing and intra-group billing arrangement Ensure timely processing of payment requests and approvals with sufficient approval authority Review and investigate on ledger breaks and intercompany breaks with local and group counterparties Ensure proper accounting entries in relation to payment and accrual process within Finance Support the preparation of financial and regulatory reporting whenever applicable Project management and being Finance representative on payment and financial control related projects Review and identify opportunities to streamline the process flow, with the support of digital solution tools Manage requests from internal and external auditors relating to financial and payment control functions Requirements Bachelor degree holder, preferred with major in Accounting, Finance and Business Administrations Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in payment and financial control functions, preferably in financial institutions with overseas offices Strong financial control sense and attentive to details Financial and regulatory reporting experience in a bank is an advantage Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management Self-starter with the ability to multi-task, a strong desire to learn, and a team player Able to work independently and under tight timeline Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
