### RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for key components of the **Xsolla platform**. - Architect and evolve **microservices-based systems** to support large-scale, high-performance operations. - Implement and optimize **database structures** and queries for maximum efficiency and reliability. - Ensure high **availability, performance, and fault tolerance** across distributed services. - Lead efforts to improve **CI/CD pipelines**, deployment processes, and system observability. - Conduct **code reviews**, mentor team members, and foster a culture of engineering excellence. - Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions. - Drive continuous improvement through automation, testing, and proactive system monitoring. - Stay ahead of industry trends, adopting emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities. ### REQUIREMENTS - **3+ years** of professional experience in in **backend development** (with **Go**). - Proven experience in **designing and maintaining microservices architectures**. - Strong background in **SQL and NoSQL databases**, with hands-on experience in **query optimization**. - In-depth knowledge of **RESTful APIs**, **event-driven systems**, and **asynchronous communication patterns**. - Practical experience with **Docker**, **Kubernetes**, and **CI/CD automation**. - Solid understanding of **software design principles**, **OOP**, and **clean architecture**. - Familiarity with **testing frameworks** (e.g., Jest, Mocha, or similar) and **monitoring tools** (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). - Experience working in **Agile/Scrum environments** with cross-functional teams. - Strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. - Proficiency in English for technical communication and documentation. ### Nice to Have - Experience with **Go frameworks** such as **Gin**, **Echo**, or **Fiber**. - Familiarity with **GraphQL** or **gRPC**. - Background in **distributed systems**, **caching layers**, or **message queues** (e.g., **Kafka**, **RabbitMQ**). - Exposure to **gaming**, **fintech**, or **digital asset** platforms.
