As a Backend Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the development, implementation, and maintenance of our core B2B logistics products, working closely with the Engineering Lead. - Collaborate with the Engineering Lead to translate product requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans. - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, microservices, and robust RESTful APIs within the defined platform architecture. - Develop clean, well-tested, production-ready code primarily using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Implement and deliver robust, user-focused features effectively, seeking guidance when necessary to ensure quality and timely completion. - Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure seamless feature delivery. - Participate in identifying and resolving production issues, focusing on system maintenance and performance optimization. ## Requirements - **3+ years** of professional experience focused on backend or full-stack software engineering. - **Experience** in developing business-to-business (B2B) enterprise software, ERP, WMS, or TMS systems. - **Proficiency in Node.js (Express.js) and TypeScript/JavaScript.** - **Solid understanding and experience** working with relational and NoSQL databases, specifically **MongoDB and PostgreSQL.** - Proven ability to develop applications on cloud platforms like Google Cloud or Firebase. - Ability to work effectively and take ownership of assigned tasks in a remote setting. - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. - **Good working proficiency in English (both written and verbal) to collaborate effectively with the remote team and stakeholders.** ### Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with MabangERP or similar warehouse/transportation management systems. - Background in logistics, supply chain, or related domains. - Familiarity with GraphQL or Serverless technologies. ## Apply [Apply at Portless](https://apply.workable.com/portless/j/D06A54486D/apply) --- Powered by [Workable](https://www.workable.com)
