## Band 7 Sonographer ## Description ### **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our team at our Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your primary focus will be on obstetric scans, ensuring accurate and detailed assessments. Position: Sonographer Banding: 7 Location: Southwest England Hours: 08:00 am – 17:00 pm Rate: **£**60.00P/H Days: Monday to Friday Start: ASAP Duration: 1 Year ### **Responsibilities:** - Perform obstetric ultrasound scans using state-of-the-art equipment. - Assess fetal development, monitor pregnancies, and detect any abnormalities. - Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results. - Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality. - Provide compassionate care and excellent communication to patients during the scanning process. ### **Requirements:** - Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent. - Certification in Obstetric Ultrasound. - Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software. - Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Why work for Pulse:** At Pulse, we believe that great things begin with great people.
