Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides individual, group and family therapy with assigned patients. (70%) Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients. (10%) Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g. treatment plans, progress notes). (10%) Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings. (10%) Performs other duties as assigned or required. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Master's degree in a relevant field Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) or other Behavioral Specialist license Preferred Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting Additional Employment Requirements: CPR – American Heart Association Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate Disclaimer: The job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and essential duties and responsibilities of work performed by employees within this job title.
