Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Location: Lancaster, Pennsylvania Job Type: Full-Time (In-person) Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour Overview Paragon Behavioral Health Services, part of the DTAC (Diversified Treatment Alternative Centers) family, is seeking dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians to support children, adolescents, and families in the Lancaster area. This role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans, supporting behavioral goals, and helping clients develop positive coping and social skills. Key Responsibilities Provide one-on-one behavioral health services to assigned clients Implement treatment goals outlined in the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP) Collect and document behavioral data and client progress Model interventions and strategies for caregivers Support development of appropriate social, emotional, and behavioral skills Maintain accurate and timely documentation for clinical and billing purposes Collaborate with supervisors, Behavior Consultants, and treatment team members Participate in required trainings and maintain compliance standards Represent the organization professionally in all interactions Qualifications Required: High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to follow structured treatment plans and work independently Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Education, etc.) Bachelor’s degree in another field with at least 1 year of experience working with children or adolescents Associate’s degree or 60 college credits with 3+ years of relevant experience Requirements Ability to obtain PA clearances (Criminal Background, FBI, Child Abuse) Completion of all required training prior to independent client work Commitment to compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards Benefits 401(k) Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Flexible Spending Account Paid Time Off Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program Referral Program Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discount Programs Work Location This is an in-person position based in Lancaster, PA (17601).
