We care with kindness, respect, and are passionate about helping adults and teens of all genders, sexual orientations, races, religions, ethnicities, abilities, and cultural backgrounds lead healthy lives. **ABOUT THIS POSITION** **Our West Valley Clinic is hiring a full-time (40 hours/wk) Bilingual Telehealth Clinical Assistant, eligible for full benefits.** The Telehealth Clinical Assistant works directly with the Telehealth Clinician Manager to provide direct-to-consumer telehealth services to patients throughout Utah. The Telehealth Clinical Assistant performs a variety of clinical, patient care, and administrative functions, including facilitating consents, scheduling appointments, and assisting with remote patient care workflows. We encourage individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to apply. ### Job Duties: - Conduct patient intake, verify consent forms, and schedule virtual telehealth appointments. - Provide clear, non-directive education on all birth control methods, pregnancy options, and medication/surgical abortion care. - Manage electronic medical records, update patient charts, and log lab results accurately. - Support clinicians in maintaining smooth, efficient virtual patient visit workflows. - Assist patients with remote payment collection and answer billing, scheduling, or care inquiries. - Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines, state reporting laws, and PPAU medical standards. ### What We're Looking For: - High school diploma or equivalent. - 1+ years of experience in a medical setting or extensive customer service experience; OR 2 years of experience combined with post-high school education/certification in a medical, health, gender studies, social work, family planning, or related field. - Yearly influenza vaccination required. - Bilingual English/Spanish ability is **required**.
