### Job Description ## **Role Purpose** The BIM Manager governs the project's 3D BIM model environment up to LOD 400/500, enforcing the project's BIM Execution Plan across both PMC and EPC teams. The role focuses on automated clash detection across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to eliminate costly on-site rework. The BIM Manager also verifies that site variations and change orders are updated dynamically within the digital twin model by the contractor, ensuring the final extraction of a clean "As-Built BIM" model that integrates with the airport's long-term Facility Management (FM) systems. ## **Key Responsibilities** ***1. BIM Execution Plan Governance*** - Enforce the project's BIM Execution Plan (BEP) across both PMC and EPC teams, ensuring consistent modelling standards and protocols. - Govern the project's 3D BIM model environment up to LOD 400/500 across all disciplines. - Define and maintain naming conventions, coding structures, and common data environment (CDE) workflows. ***2. Clash Detection & Model Coordination*** - Lead automated clash detection across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to eliminate costly on-site rework. - Federate multidisciplinary models into a single coordinated environment and track clashes to closure with design and construction teams. - Coordinate model reviews and clash-resolution workshops across PMC, EPC, and design consultant teams. ***3. Digital Twin & Change Management*** - Verify that site variations and change orders are updated dynamically within the digital twin model by the contractor. - Ensure model data integrity, version control, and traceability across the design and construction lifecycle. - Track and validate model updates against approved variations and change orders. ***4. As-Built BIM & Facility Management Integration*** - Ensure the final extraction of a clean "As-Built BIM" model reflecting completed construction. - Support integration of the As-Built BIM model with the airport's long-term Facility Management (FM) systems. - Support development of the Asset Information Model (AIM) for handover to operations. ***5. Quality Assurance & Stakeholder Coordination*** - Conduct regular model audits and quality checks to verify compliance with LOD, naming, and coordination requirements. - Act as the primary technical point of contact on BIM matters between the SPV, EPC Contractor, PMC, and design consultants. - Train and support project teams and contractors on BIM tools, workflows, and best practices. ## **Candidate Profile** ***Qualifications & Certifications*** - Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering. ***Experience*** - Total 10+ years in civil engineering or architecture, with a minimum of 5+ years of dedicated experience as a BIM Manager/Lead. - Must have completed at least one mega-scale infrastructure project (Airport, Metro, or High-Speed Rail Station). ***Software Proficiencies*** - Expert level in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks Manage. - Proficient in BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud (CDE). - Familiar with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and asset management integration tools. ***Skills & Attributes*** - Rigorous, detail-oriented approach to model quality, clash resolution, and data governance. - Credible technical partner able to influence designers, contractors, and shareholder technical teams. - Strong understanding of digital twin workflows and facility management data requirements. - Fluent English required, Russian or Uzbek an advantage. ## **Success Measures (indicative)** - BIM Execution Plan enforced consistently across PMC and EPC teams, with models maintained up to LOD 400/500. - Clashes identified and resolved ahead of construction, minimizing on-site rework. - Clean As-Built BIM model delivered and successfully integrated with Facility Management systems ahead of airport opening.
