If you are motivated by the chance to be part of a team that is building something meaningful, while helping guide projects, support clients, and influence our continued growth in Ohio, we would like to talk with you. ### Key responsibilities of this role will include: **Project Management & Delivery** - Serve as a Project Manager and/or Project Engineer for bridge and structural design projects of varying complexity, including local agency and ODOT work, with an emphasis on pursuing and delivering ODOT projects - Manage all aspects of project delivery, including tasks, budgets, schedules, resources, and development of scopes and staffing plans to ensure successful outcomes - Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accountability for overall project performance - Participate in project meetings, presentations, and stakeholder coordination activities **Client Coordination & Business Development** - Coordinate with clients, including ODOT, local agencies, and stakeholders, to define project requirements and maintain strong relationships through clear, consistent communication - Support business development efforts, including proposals, scope development, client engagement, and contributions to ODOT and local agency pursuits - Coordinate with regulatory agencies, utilities, and stakeholders to support project delivery and ensure compliance **Technical Design, Execution, & Quality** - Lead the planning, analysis, and design of bridge and transportation structure projects, including bridge rehabilitation, replacement, and new structure design - Perform and/or oversee detailed structural engineering analysis and preparation of project deliverables, including plans, specifications, and technical documentation - Ensure quality and compliance by applying QA/QC processes in alignment with AASHTO, ODOT, and applicable design standards **Technical Expertise & Support** - Serve as a technical advisor on complex structural design issues and project strategy, providing input on technical approaches and execution while supporting high-quality delivery - Mentor and support junior staff through technical guidance, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, while working with senior leadership and internal teams to deliver successful projects ### Qualifications for this role include: - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or a related field; structural emphasis preferred - Professional Engineer (PE) License in Ohio - 10+ years of experience in bridge/structural design, including project management experience on ODOT transportation projects - Experience supporting pursuits, proposals, or client development activities preferred - Experience with MicroStation and OpenBridge Modeler preferred; experience with OpenRoads and other relevant design tools a plus - Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive projects to successful completion - Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience working with clients and stakeholders - Demonstrated commitment to quality, accuracy, and excellence ### What we offer: - **Health & Wellness**: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Basic Life Insurance w/ option for additional Voluntary Life Insurance - **Work/Life Balance**: Vacation, Holidays, Sick Leave, Parental Leave, Flexible Scheduling & Telecommuting Opportunities) - **Wealth-Building**: 401k w/ company match, Student Loan Repayment Benefit, Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), Competitive Compensation Package - **Professional Benefits**: Professional Membership Dues, Career & Educational Development
