This position plays a key role in ensuring compliance with New York State Building Codes and local regulations through field inspections of residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction or code enforcement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per yearThe specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location. Job DutiesConduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial projects to verify compliance with applicable New York State Building Codes and local ordinances. Identify code violations and provide guidance on corrective actions. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients and project stakeholders. Coordinate with internal team members to support project schedules and deliverables. RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in construction, building inspection, or code enforcement. Current New York State Building Code Enforcement Official certification. Strong working knowledge of New York State Building Codes and construction practices.
