Business Analyst II

Title: Business Analyst II (EBAYJP00013973) Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 12 Months contract Primary Responsibilities ● Reconcile monthly subsidy transactional data ● Generate and distribute reconciliation statements to sellers ● Enhance the existing subsidy financial reporting system ● Analyze financial data to identify and resolve payment and accrual variances ● Maintain and balance subsidy payment accounts by verifying, reconciling and allocating payment transactions ● Partner closely with the Subsidy Contract Coordinator to identify and resolve contract discrepancies ● Identify operational use cases to propose operational changes that align with business needs ● Communicate with internal and external partners in a professional manner to resolve seller payment disputes ● Gather financial information, investigate and resolve seller inquiries ● Maintain cross-functional collaboration with legal, verticals, finance, product and analytics teams to resolve subsidy related issues Qualification • 3-5 years general business experience, including some accounting or data analysis experience • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting preferred • Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment • Must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Excellent analytical and organizational ability • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task • Excellent communication and customer service skills All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
