Business Development Manager

Job description

We're looking for an experienced business development professional with 4+ years in B2B software, clear and confident English, and the drive to have real conversations with prospects every day. You'll find new business for VIDIZMO by reaching end customers directly and bringing in deals through partners. You'll book meetings with the right people, confirm a real need, and hand qualified opportunities to the account team, using AI tools to research, prepare and follow up. About VIDIZMO VIDIZMO is an AI software company, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Tysons, Virginia. Our products are Nexus, AI Intelligence Hub, AI Live Insight, and Redactor. Together they help organizations store, search, analyze, redact, and share unstructured data, and they treat video, audio, images, documents, and text as equally important sources. More than 100 organizations use VIDIZMO in production across public safety and justice, government, healthcare, financial services, education, legal, manufacturing, and energy. Many run it on-premises, in air-gapped setups, or in FedRAMP High environments, on an architecture aligned with the CJIS Security Policy. We sell directly and through a global network of channel partners, so this team works with end customers and partners every day. VIDIZMO is an NVIDIA Inception partner, a Microsoft Solutions Partner for Data & AI, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified. Customers can buy through GSA, Carahsoft, and state and cooperative contract vehicles. AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot are part of how we work, and we expect you to use them well. Ownership is not negotiable: you check anything AI helps produce for accuracy, completeness and compliance, and you're accountable for the final result. What You'll Do Call and message end customers and partners every day from a prioritized call queue. Spend at least two hours a day in real conversations with new prospects and partners. Book meetings with the right decision-makers and confirm a real need. Turn qualified interest into opportunities, and hand them to the account team with a clear summary. Register partner opportunities the same day you hear about them, and sign a new partner when a deal needs one. Log every call, email and meeting in HubSpot the same day. Use Claude or a similar AI assistant every day for prospect research, call prep, outreach and follow-up. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field. Clear, confident spoken and written English. You're easy to understand on the phone with US buyers. 4+ years in business development for B2B software, with meetings and opportunities you can point to. Experience working with resellers, system integrators or referral partners. Experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo or similar tools. A habit of logging every call and meeting the same day. Experience automating your own routine work with AI, such as reusable prompts, Claude Projects, AI-assisted workflows or simple scripts. Tell us about something you automated. Legally authorized to work in Pakistan. What Sets You Apart You enjoy the phone and you're persistent without being pushy. You can quickly tell a real need from polite interest, and you keep your pipeline and CRM clean. You bring partner relationships and a track record you can show, you use AI tools to prepare faster and follow up consistently, and you take ownership of your numbers with little supervision. How You're Paid You are paid a monthly salary and commission. Commission comes from 7.5% of what VIDIZMO receives on each deal, shared by everyone who worked on it. On a partner deal the partner keeps its margin first. Commission is paid the month after the customer pays, and there is no cap. Small payments come early for steps done properly, before a deal closes. Pay mix at target: 60% salary and 40% commission. Benefits Health insurance (OPD/IPD), separate maternity cover, leave encashment, car support program, referral bonus, EOBI, bi-annual increment, provident fund, career growth and quarterly performance pay. Benefits vary by location. Details Job Type: Remote Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST
