Job description
## **Ready to lead, disrupt and reinvent the sleep industry?** We are **Emma – The Sleep Company**. Founded in 2015, we have grown into the world’s largest direct-to-consumer (D2C) sleep brand, with a presence in over 20 markets and more than 35 Emma stores across Europe. Our mission is simple: to develop sleep comfort products that empower our customers to awaken their best every day. Today, our products are trusted by millions and recommended by leading consumer associations worldwide. It’s our people who bring this mission to life. At Emma, you’ll join a driven, international team that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous knowledge sharing. With colleagues from over 70 nationalities, we combine diverse perspectives with a shared ambition to learn, grow, and create lasting impact, together. **Ready to awaken your best with us?** **Run and own the channel** You will own the Ecommerce D2C P&L for Chile as its commercial result. You will set the plan to hit the number and run the channel strategy, working from inside the country team identifying growth opportunities. Emma has sold mattresses to 12M+ sleepers in 35+ countries, backed by a 10-year guarantee and a 100-night trial. You’ll lead the next stage of that growth in Chile. ### What you will do: *Commercial result and P&L* - The D2C P&L, including net revenue (NR) and contribution margin (CM) - The channel plan to deliver the number, and the strategy behind it - Target setting with the Country Manager, and the weekly commercial steering - Root-cause diagnosis and business growth opportunities. *Pricing and promotion strategy* - The market’s pricing and promotion strategy within the global guardrails and the market competitors - Business cases to propose changes on potential opportunities - The promotional calendar and commercial toolbox through seasonal peaks such as Cyber and Black Days. *Portfolio direction* - The market’s portfolio direction in collaboration with Category Management : launches, phase-outs, opporunities and product mix - Turning market gaps into product requests with S&OP and the product team *Operations partnership* - The S&OP relationship for the market - Forecast accuracy and OTIF, owned as a commercial result - Stock monitoring, and post-sale coordination with Customer Experience *Data and measurement* - The market’s commercial measurement: which KPIs matter, how they’re tracked and how they drive decisions - Decisions backed by a clear data narrative - Automation of commercial steering with AI, so the role carries more scope without a proportional rise in headcount **How you’ll work** You’ll align Operations (S&OP, Customer Experience, Logistics), Marketing, Finance and the Webshop team around the channel’s business growth goals. You’ll make independent calls on promotions, discounts within guardrails, product prioritization and bundles. Base price changes, new launches and new partner contracts are aligned with the Country Manager and global. You’ll also strengthen the regional BD network. That means documenting best practice, acting as sparring partner between market and region, and leading cross-market initiatives. ### Who we are looking for: - Have 4+ years in ecommerce, commercial roles, category management or business development, including P&L ownership in D2C or retail - Have set pricing, promotion or portfolio strategy, and can back it with a business case - Can turn complex data into a clear story that leads to a decision - Align senior stakeholders across Marketing, Ops, Finance and global teams - Are fluent in English and Spanish - You have strong analytical skills and learn quickly - You like to take on responsibility and can work independently - You have drive, ambition and a genuine interest in how to grow business ### What we offer: - A combination of personal and company growth to accelerate your career and help you reach your goals. - The chance to work on exciting and challenging projects either independently or as part of a dedicated, international team. - Wellbeing activities - Hybrid home office policy - Flexible schedules - Pet-friendly office - Monthly salary + pantry & restaurant vouchers - Benefits higher than the law
