Job description
# **Who We Are** Zefir is building an AI autopilot for home sales in Europe, starting in France: an AI agent runs the entire sale and purchase journey end-to-end, orchestrating local brokers, portals, buyers, and documents. Backed by over $55 million from top-tier investors like Sequoia Capital, we're committed to accelerating life changes for millions of current and future European homeowners. ## **The role** As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you are the first commercial point of contact with our prospects. You join Zefir's Sales team and reach out to homeowners who have run a valuation on our website but have not booked an appointment yet. The core of the role is reactivation: these homeowners showed interest, then stopped there. You are the one who gets them moving again, on the phone, one by one. Your goal as a BDR: create the sales opportunities that feed our revenue directly. ## **What you will do** - Handle around 100 calls per day, with a target of 3 to 4 meetings booked daily. - Run qualification calls of about 20 minutes: understand the client's project, present Zefir's value proposition, and book a follow-up meeting with an Account Executive. - Keep rigorous track of your pipeline and move leads through the Sales funnel. - Work closely with Account Executives to maximize conversion and contribute directly to Zefir's growth. ## **Career path** We are transparent on this. A BDR role can open the door to an Account Executive role internally, but there is no automatic progression and no guaranteed timeline. Any move depends on three things: performance, behavioral fit, and team needs. What we can commit to: our Consumer Account Executives, the role a BDR grows into, and our Sales Managers are filled exclusively through internal mobility. We never open these roles externally. Top performers are rewarded, with uncapped variable pay and real visibility. ## **Who we are looking for** - **0 to 2 years of experience.** This role is designed for a junior profile who wants to learn sales on the phone, fast and in the fiel d. - Master's level graduate from a business school, an engineering school or a university, or a first experience as a BDR, SDR or sales rep in a structured environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication. Fluency in French is required. Fluent English is a plus, not a must-have. - Rigorous and well organized, able to sustain a high volume of client interactions over time. - Energized by performance and intensity, with a client and results orientation. - Resilient, and able to take feedback to improve quickly. One honest note: this role is intense and repetitive by design. Around a hundred calls a day, every day, with rejection along the way. That is what makes you improve fast at sales, and it is not for everyone. ## **Compensation and working setup** - **€47K package**: €35K base plus €12K of uncapped variable, on top of the BSPCE granted to everyone. - **Three days on-site, two days of remote work per week**, at our Le Peletier office in the 9th arrondissement. Being in the room matters on this role, you learn to sell by hearing others sell. ## **Hiring process** - **Screening**: a first 15-minute conversation with a member of the Talent team. - **Use case**: two written questions (15 minutes of work) to send back within 4 days. - **Role interview, at our offices**: 60 minutes on the role with the Sales Manager. - **Culture interview**: 45 minutes with a member of the Sales team. ## **Benefits** ### *The following is for permanent employees only. For other contracts (interns, apprentices, fixed-term..), please, check with your recruiter.* - **Competitive salary**: You can run your own simulation with our [salary calculator](https://www.zefir.fr/zefir-salary-calculator). - **BSPCE (Stock Options)**: Available for everyone, with monthly vesting after year one, over a 4-year period. - **Healthcare plan**: Full coverage with Alan for team members, their partners, and children. - **Office in Le Peletier, Paris (9th arrondissement)**: With flexible remote work options. - **Swile meal card**: €11 per worked day. - **Swile mobility card**: €45/month to support sustainable transportation (metro, carpooling, biking…). - **Team events**: Monthly Mixers to connect and share good times, and quarterly All Hands to celebrate wins across the company. ## **Our Operating Principles** 🏔️ **Steep Mountains Are Steep:** Setting ambitious goals and working hard to achieve them. 🌊 **Ride Reality:** Actively seeking challenges and thriving by adapting flexibly to changes. 🏀 **Play for the Front of the Jersey:** Prioritizing team success over individual recognition. ## **Application & Process** We welcome applications from anyone, regardless of background, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or experience. Our team values authenticity and diverse perspectives. For all roles, our interview process emphasizes hands-on exercises, case studies, or discussions about specific examples of your previous work. We ensure objectives and expectations are clearly communicated at every step. ##
